New Beer, Great Crabcakes

Friday night we went to LaScola, and I was excited to discover that they had added some new gluten-free options. The one I was most excited about . . . (insert drum roll) . . .a new beer!  Estrella Damm Daura.  However, I do think the irony of giving me a glass advertising a wheat beer was lost on the waiter. Oh, well. I found it very funny. Estrella has less than 6ppm of gluten (6 parts per million). It was good, and I did not have a reaction.
And, since we were at LaScola, you better believe I had crabcakes! They did not disappoint, nor did the gluten free roles.

The irony of the glass…

If I hadn’t been so full from the crabcakes, I would have tried their new gluten-free dessert options. I guess that means I just need to go back soon.

Wishing you great food and happy tummies.
