Here is hoping everyone had a wonderful gluten-free Thanksgiving. I appreciate all of those family members that made the extra effort to prepare food that I could eat. It made my holiday much more enjoyable. Now that Thanksgiving is over, I will take a break from posting recipes. Don’t worry . . . I promise to post more great dishes in time for Christmas.
Now on to some great food available at Toledo area restaurants . . .
Charlie’s has expanded their gluten-free options. In addition to their great gluten-free pizza, they are now offering gluten-free spaghetti and lasagna. I have not yet tried the spaghetti, but the lasagna was fantastic and the portion size is easily enough for dinner and lunch the next day. You will never know that it is gluten-free.
The lasagna also comes with a side salad complete with gluten-free croutons. I cannot remember the last time I had croutons on a salad. It was a great treat.
