BelliWelli, belly not full.

So I had these BelliWelli bars come up a few times marketing to me on social media. And I will admit I am always on the hunt for new snack bars to take along with me. These bars are not just gluten free, but also are supposed to be great for anyone with IBS or very sensitive stomachs. The offer I found was a variety pack with 2 of each of the 4 flavors for about $27, which seemed a little pricey for me, but I went for it. Flavors: Blueberry Muffin (pictured), Birthday Cake, Lemon White Chocolate, and Cinnamon Swirl. You can also order other flavors individually, but for a trial this seemed like my best option.

Here is my take.

BelliWelli are a lot smaller than I was expecting them to be, especially for over $3 a bar (see photo bellow). So far I have had 3 of the 4 flavors. The flavors are good, not great, maybe slightly lighter than I would like. I wanted the cinnamon one to really hit with the flavor, but it was there and did not fill my craving of a cinnamon roll as I hoped. The texture is pleasant I would compare it to a cookie and muffin combined into a bar. There are no strange after tastes that I have had from other bars. My stomach did not have any issues with them, which is their main marketing and selling point. However, they are not very filling. Even for a midday snack I was to feel a little more satisfied, especially for the price.

Conclusion:

If you have a very sensitive stomach and can afford them here is where to buy BelliWelli. For me I will stick with my go-to’s of Kind bars, Lara Bars, Luna Bars and Rx Bars.

Happy Snacking!
