More than Soup in this Pot

by | Jan 6, 2012 | Restaurants

We frequent the Cleveland area to visit family. Recently we discover The Soup Pot in Solon. Not exactly in the Toledo area, but they ship, and it is worth it.

On rye and gluten free?!

What you see is a sandwich made on gluten-free “mock” rye bread. Yes, you read that correctly! I am not sure of the magical baking that allows for such a wonder, but it was delicious.  They sell a variety of other gluten-free cookies, breads and other baked treats.

Cookies like Grandma’s

We were there over Christmas time and was fortunate enough to be there when they still had these fantastic apricot and raspberry filled cookies.  These are like the ones my grandma made growing up, but that I can actually eat.  I was so excited I nearly fell over.  They are my sister’s favorite, so I got extra sister points when I brought some back for her.

There website list all of their gluten-free baked goods that are available to ship.  It includes muffins, scones, breads and cookies.

Their website is: www.thesouppot.com

Phone: 440-248-0996

So thanks to the Soup Pot for such wonderful treats!

Wishing you great food and happy tummies,

K
