Don’t Forget the Dressing!

by | Jan 10, 2013 | Restaurants

This is a plea to the wonderful restaurants that offer gluten free (gf) options. Please, don’t forget the dressing! A salad seems to be an easy option for restaurants to make GF given the frequency that they appear on the GF menu.  But, all too frequently, there are no salad dressings listed as options.

I like salad, but I am not a fan of eating a pile of lettuce with nothing on it.  Sometimes I luck out and the wait staff is educated, or willing to do the leg work to find out which dressings are gf.  Other times I am pretty sure they go back, take a nap, and then tell me there are no options.

I will happily eat a salad without the croutons.  I will not happily eat a salad without the dressing.

Wishing you great food and happy tummies,

K
