Deepam is Deelicious!

by | Aug 28, 2011 | Restaurants

Last week I was feeling bored with my standard dinner options, so we went for Indian at Deepam. When asked whether there dishes were gluten free, this was the gist of the response we received:
“Indians don’t need wheat, we use spices to thicken our sauces.”

This was a fantastic response in my eyes! If you can get over the fact that you will not be eating naan (the bread), you are in for some great food! Delicious, flavorful and something different.

Since they make almost everything from scratch, they can tell you exactly what is in each dish. Don’t forget to get some of their homemade “chips” and dessert.

Wishing you great food and happy tummies.
